Boat/RV covers laws that apply to retail installment sales of: (1) ATVs and ATV Trailers, (2) Boats and Boat Trailers, (3) Camping Trailers, (4) Motorcycles, (5) Motor Homes, (6) Personal Watercraft and Trailers, and (7) Snowmobiles and Trailers. The questions relate to perfection of security interests, lien releases, and other pertinent issues. The responses are based on state statutes, regulations and materials published by the regulating entity. The responses generally do not cover local or municipal ordinances. The responses do not address issues related to direct loans.
