Tom Hudson was born near Birmingham, Alabama, and raised in Acworth, a small mill town an hour north of Atlanta, Georgia. Tom grew up to be a nationally recognized lawyer, but his principal interest is writing. He has written several well-received books on legal topics, and has now turned his efforts toward producing this chronicle of life in the South in the '50s and '60s.

His stories are presented with a distinctly Southern voice and a wry sense of humor that mixes Lewis Grizzard with Brother Dave Gardner. In Tales From Acworth, you'll be transported to a simpler, quieter time, and you'll meet characters you'll remember ranging from Tom's offbeat parents to his North Cobb High School teachers.
